The Salem Housing Authority operates a Public Housing Program for low-income elderly and/or disabled households.

In order to be eligible, the head of household or spouse must be at least 62 years of age or disabled, and household income must be below the applicable income limits as noted below:

2 person	$52,000
3 person	$58,500
4 person	$65,000
