Is my application kept confidential?

Yes. Only authorized Housing Authority personnel, HUD personnel and our auditors have access to such information. Information is not disclosed or released without proper authorization from the applicant.

Once my name is placed on the waiting list, do I have to do anything else?

Yes. Each year, the Housing Authority conducts an update of our waiting list, and you will need to complete an updated application to stay on the list. At any time, you may be requested to submit verification of the information you provided on your aplication forms. You should contact our office at any time your information changes, particularly changes in address, income or household size.

No. Our public housing program receives federal subsidy - however, we are not a federal agency. We are a political subdivision.

Do you provide any services to the public housing residents?

We do not provide any direct services outside of housing and maintenance needs. However, we have a Resident Service Coordinator on staff to assist wherever possible. Our facilities have access to local transportation services through the Senior Center, homemaker and home health aide services, meals-on-wheels, surplus food programs and more.
